^.^ 's latest journal entry has made me want to talk about cosplay! I've been looking at heaps of pictures from my favourite games and anime, and I've remembered a heap of characters that I want to cosplay (Ahh, I just came across a picture of Reddas from FF XII. Luckily, it was only from the waist up, so I didn't have to see his pink pants XD). So, to make sure that I don't forget about them again, and cause I feel like telling you all about them, here's the characters I want to cosplay:

Saki Hanajima (Fruits Basket) for Ai-con 2010. I'm not sure whether I'll make her school uniform or some casual clothes.

Hinata Hyuuga (Naruto Shippuuden). I've wanted to cosplay her for ages, but I couldn't find the material I wanted. I'm thinking I'll just go with the next best option. I was thinking of making an outfit (probably casual clothes) for my birthday, but I might not be able to get a wig in time.

Rikku (Final Fantasy X and X-2) [link] . I absolutely love Rikku, so she's on my cosplay list despite blonde wigs not suiting me. Her outfit in X is my first choice... I'm definitely not making her thief outfit from X-2 any time soon! It makes me cold just thinking about it! I quite like her black mage outfit, though.

Yuna (Final Fantasy X and X-2). She's got so many cool outfits in both games... My favourite is probably her kimono in X, but I'd love to make some of her outfits from X-2, as well. Ooh, and her Kingdom Hearts outfit! That's so cute!

Rydia (Final Fantasy IV) [link] . It's quite a complex outfit, but I really like it. It'd be great to get a FF IV cosplay group together, but I don't think I know anyone else whose played it, let alone anyone who wants to cosplay a character.

Penelo (Final Fantasy XII) [link] . FF XII outfits are all so pretty, but look hard to make. I'm not sure if I'll ever get Penelo done, because of that and the blonde issue, but there's no way I'm taking her off my list. I love her outfit in Revenant Wings ([link]) but it's kinda revealing (though it's not too much worse than my Vivi cosplay). Once again, I'd love to get a group together (although I'd be happy with just a Vaan ^.^ *is a huge Vaan/Penelo shipper*), but don't know any FF XII cosplayers.

Larsa (Final Fantasy XII) [link] . Larsa is just too adorable! He's probably my favourite FF XII character. Whenever he was in the party, I'd waste heaps of time levelling up or just wandering cause I didn't want him to leave. And then his bits at the end of the game... *squee!*. Ok, now that that's over with... His outfit is so complex and would take aaaaages to make, but I'm determined to get it done one day. Just probably not any day soon.

Ashe (Final Fantasy XII) [link] . Ok, I'm not really very serious about cosplaying Ashe. I'd just love to do it to be able to make fun of her. Seriously, no matter what weapon you give her, she holds it really awkwardly. But I probably wouldn't be able to put up with her belt-skirt and hard-to-make outfit. And what on earth is that top-jacket-thing supposed to be? Her whole outfit is so funny.

Yuffie (Final Fantasy VII). I think I like her Dirge of Cerberus outfit best ([link]). She's not very high on my cosplay list, but I'd quite like to get her done eventually.

Refia (Final Fantasy III). I'm not very far through the game yet, but I already like her. At the moment I'm thinking of doing her freelancer outfit ([link]) just cause that's the one you first see her in.

Shiki (The World Ends With You) [link] . I haven't completely decided which TWEWY character I want to cosplay, but Shiki'd be my first choice at the moment. I've already got ideas for a TWEWY skit XD. It'd probably never get done, though. But anyway, I will cosplay a TWEWY character one day, most likely Shiki.

Xion (Kingodm Hearts 358/2 Days) [link] . I've decided I'll definitely cosplay her, I just need to decide when ^.^

Levi/Levy McGarden (Fairy Tail) [link] and [link] . Wow, there's basically no colour pictures of Levi around... But then again, the anime's only just started. Levi was one of the first characters I really liked (mainly cause she loves books XD). And she's got blue hair! I seem to like characters with unnatural hair colours XD

Juvia/Jubia/Lluvia Loxar (Fairy Tail). Yeah, it seems that no one can agree on what her name's supposed to be. I think it's Juvia, though. I'm planning to make her most recent outfit ([link] and [link]). I liked her character right from when she was first introduced, although I didn't like her first outfit. Hehe and I don't blame her for falling in love with Gray XD. And another blue-haired character!

Soifon (Bleach) [link] . If I had to choose any Bleach character to cosplay, it'd be Soifon. But I haven't really enjoyed reading Bleach for ages (after the stuff in Soul Society. It seems to be where everyone else stops liking it as much, too) so I probably won't cosplay her for ages, if I ever get around to it.

Sakuya (Okami) [link] . And maybe some other Okami characters. I love that game, the artwork is so beautiful ^.^

Unknown Vocaloid. I haven't decided on one yet.

And last but not least, my dream cosplay at the moment:

Lenneth (Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth) [link] . Seriously, look at the picture. I've only seen one or two good cosplays of Lenneth. I love her outfit, though. It looks like it'll be really really hard to make, so it'll probably take at least a couple of years until I attempt it, but I will make it one day. After I learn how to make armour.

Well, that's all I can think of for now. 18 characters (well, 17 since Ashe doesn't really count), that's way more than I thought I had.

It's been ages since I last updated my journal, hasn't it? Since I last updated, I've cosplayed Vivi and Perona from One Piece. I have the feeling I had another OP character I wanted to cosplay, but I can't think who it was.

That reminds me, I wasn't up to date in OP when I last updated, was I? I sped through about the last half of the chapters that were released at the time in about a month. I absolutely love it ^.^, I'm watching the anime now. It's overtaken Naruto as my second favourite anime/manga (after Fruits Basket, which will probably always be my favourite).

Speaking of Naruto... It's still annoying me. The rest of the Invasion of Pein arc was great (especially the fact that Hinata survived!), but since then it's been boring. Seriously, it's mainly been about Sasuke deciding that he wants to kill the new Hokage (since Tsunade is in a coma since Pein's attack), so he shows up to a meeting of all the Kages. Then we find that, what a surprise, Sasuke isn't actually strong enough to beat all of them! So he gets rescued by Madara. And in the meantime, Sakura has decided that she loves Naruto and has confessed to him (grr I won't start on how much I hate Sakura after that, even though I've liked her in Shippuuden, or I'll be here all night), but Naruto could tell that it was fake and has all but rejected her. And Naruto hasn't even seen Hinata since she confessed and ALMOST DIED TO SAVE HIM! Argh, as you can probably tell, I'm really not happy with Kishimoto at the moment.

Well, I'd better finish this up before it becomes too long. I'm really not good at writing short journal entries, am I?
