Well, I'll talk about Breaking Dawn towards the end of the entry, just in case someone wants to avoid spoilers.

Once again, it's been a while since I last updated my journal. I've got all my exam results back... I managed to do fairly well, considering my lack of studying. I'll have to make sure I study more for the end of year exams.

Our school formal is soon... I'm planing to go, but it's turning out to be quite a bit of trouble. I've got a dress and everything, so at least I don't have to worry about that, but it's been really hard trying to organise a table. It seems that my friends who're going (which aren't that many) are already on a table. >.< So I'm just asking everyone if they've got a spare place at their table, but those I've asked haven't. Apparently there are a few tables with people who can't get together a full table, but I'd perfer to be able to sit with friends. Apart from that, though, I'm really looking forward to the formal. It's always fun to dress up and hang out with friends.

I started watching Naruto Shippuuden (no idea how that's spelt...) the other day. I was really really bored... But at least the site I'm watching it on has the subbed version. I watched the dubbed version of the first 20 or so episodes, and they were REALLY annoying (seriously, if I hear the words 'believe it' one more time, I'm going to go mad). I don't know if Shippuuden's better, but I don't want to take any chances XD I still prefer the manga, though. It takes about three times as long for anything to happen in the anime, with all the flashbacks (grr...) and extra, useless stuff. AS I said, I was REALLY bored. But anyway, I've found that I really like some of the opening and closing songs, especially Shooting Star, the closing for Shippuuden (or the first closing if there's more than one... I haven't gotten that far in yet).

Wow, I just filled in the listening to, reading etc. bit at the top... It's kinda sad, I'm really obsessed with Naruto at the moment. I've been reading lots of Naruto/Hinata (aka. NaruHina) fanfiction lately... It's such a cute pairing, though ^.^ I might even try writing something of my own, soon. But if I start turning into one of those really annoying, Naruto-obsessed, braindead fangirls, someone needs to slap me and not let me anywhere near anything Naruto-related for at least a month. Seriously, Naruto fans give the series such a bad name, sometimes. Most of their vocabularies seem to only consist of sentences like 'omg I love Saskay (lol they usually don't even spell his name right) he's so kawaii'. I just don’t see how they can like Sasuke so much. He acts like an obsessive-compulsive two year old when he doesn’t get his way. Seriously, all he ever seems to think about is avenging everyone in his family who’s ever died. Sure, he’s had a bad past and everything, but so have many other characters and they manage to get on with their lives and not turn all emo. *sigh* Sasuke fangirls really annoy me sometimes.

Anyway, now that I’ve gotten that bit of ranting over…

I can’t wait till after school today! After looking for it for months, I’m getting a copy of The World Ends With You for my DS! It was really annoying, it seemed that as soon as I got the money for it, it disappeared from every shop in Tasmania. And apparently there’s heaps of copies on the mainland, but absolutely none here! We went into EB to ask about it, and they basically said that they didn’t have any in, they didn’t know when they were next getting some, and that they could order one in for me, but they didn’t know when it’s come in. So my mum and sister went into Game in Eastlands, and ordered a copy for me, which has come in in about a week and a half ^.^ I can’t wait to play it! Everything I’ve heard about it makes it sound like it’s really good. And it’ll be interesting to play a Square Enix game other than the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games XD

Tae Kwon Do’s been going really well lately. I’m still really enjoying it. Last Thursday, the Bellerive class was in town instead, so we got a chance to use all the equipment that we don’t use in the beginners class at town and can’t use at Bellerive cause none of it’s kept there. Usually we just do drills, doing the techniques over and over, but it can be hard to tell if you’re doing something wrong that way. But with the punching bags and stuff, we could tell because it hit the bag wrong, and stuff like that. Also, it was much more fun! The next grading's coming up around the end of September. I can't wait! It'll be good to get past white belt so we won't be complete beginners anymore. Plus the fact that my belt isn't actually completely white anymore... it's starting to get a bit dirty. I wonder if you can wash the belts...

Well, I think that’s everything else I wanted to talk about… So it’s on to Breaking Dawn, the latest book in the Twilight series (and last, unless you count Midnight Sun). I figured that everyone who wants to read it will probably have done so by now (and I’ve been too lazy to write about it earlier). But if you want to avoid spoilers for the book, it’s probably a good idea to stop reading here.

OMG, Breaking Dawn was just… wow. Everything was so unexpected! For one, I NEVER would have guessed that Bella and Edward would have a daughter! Lol I thought Renesmee was a really weird name. Bella’s just as bad as Harry Potter with naming kids after people! At least Bella did it in a more creative way, though… And I thought her middle name, Carlie, was really clever. It’s quite funny to think that Bella actually managed to combine Carlisle and Charlie’s names and come out with a girl’s name.

Basically everything to do with Jacob in this book was really unexpected, too. Him breaking away from the pack, and actually becoming somewhat friends with Leah, not to mention him imprinting on Renesmee… It was just one surprise after another! Lol, at one stage (I think it was close to before Bella gave birth to Renesmee), my sister came up with what she thought was the most unexpected thing that could happen: that Bella’s kid ended up being a girl and Jacob imprinted on her. I almost burst out laughing, I couldn’t believe that she actually managed to predict it, plus the fact that she thought it was the least likely situation to happen! I really liked reading from Jacob’s point of view. It was good to see a completely different perspective to everything.

I wasn’t completely happy with the ending, though… I kept on expecting it to come to a fight between the Cullens etc. and the Volturi. It was a bit of a letdown for it to be building up, fights almost breaking out but being stopped, and then nothing actually happening. I mean, I did enjoy all the mind games and the whole battle of words type of thing, but when the Volturi left without a fight, I thought ‘oh, that’s it?’. I do like it the way it turned out, with no one getting hurt and everything, but I was a little surprised that it didn’t actually come to a fight.

Overall, I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn. I’m glad that everything worked out between Bella and Jacob. As much as Jacob really annoyed me sometimes, it’s good to see that everyone got their ‘happily ever after’ ending.

Exams >.

(Hmm, the title doesn't seem to like the >.< emoticon thingy)

I'm really tired at the moment... I've just had three exams in three days >.< First up on Wednesday was English, which wasn't too bad... We were allowed to take the books we've been studying into the exam, so we didn't have to try to remember quotes and stuff. The first part of the exam was on historical context (which I hate), but the second part was just on our values in relation to two of the texts we'd studied, which was really easy... So it was just two essays in two hours, which even I could finish in time.

Thursday afternoon was Psychology, probably the most eventful of my exams... five minutes into the writing time of the exam, the fire alarm went off. At first the teachers were looking like they wanted to ignore it, but finally they told us to move out to the basketball courts. It meant that we finished up about 3:35 instead of about 3:15, but everyone was happy enough because they got to talk to their friends about the questions before they went back in to write the essays. I think I did better in Psychology than in my other subjects so far. I was writing flat out the whole two hours, but still didn't get to talk about everything I wanted to. I think I ended up writing about 8 pages in all... My hand was really sore afterwards!

This morning was Accounting, probably the one I was most worried about. I got to school, then realised that I didn't have a calculator, something that anyone who's done Accounting would know is VERY hard to do an exam without one >.< Luckily the library had some spares, so I was able to borrow one. I think I did alright in the exam... It can be a bit hard to tell sometimes. I don't think I would have failed it, though.

So... Only Sociology left now >.< I should be able to pass it, but there's just so much stuff to try to remember. At least the essay's on deviance, which I probably understand better than anything we've done so far.

I've been spending this afternoon looking around on youtube. I found a really funny series called Vincent vs Squall. Someone got Final Fantasy action figures and have somehow animated them, and put voices over them. The first few are kinda hard to understand, but when you can hear what they're saying it's really funny. I'm up to number 16, and by now they've got Vincent, Squall, Rinoa, Sephiroth, Tifa, Cloud, Yuna, Tidus, Auron, Ashe and Vaan in it. Here's the link to the first one: [link]

Hmm is there anyone on here who lives in Tassie and goes on Gaia Online? My friend's just made a guild on there got Gaians from Tassie, and we're looking for members. Gaia's not working for me at the moment, so I can't get the link... But if you search for 'Tassie' in the guilds, you should find it :)
And of course, if you also like Kingdom Hearts, you should look my mine and another of my friend’s guild called The Way To Dawn - A Riku Fan Guild

Hehe ok, that’s enough advertising now...

Wow, this entry is a page long in MS Word ^.^

*sigh* I'm in my free line and probably should be doing my Sociology homework, but it's too early on a monday morning >.<

But anyway, since I'm trying not to think about that... I can't wait till Tae Kwon Do tonight! My sister and I started learning a coupl of weeks ago and I love it ^.^ Hopefully I'll never have to use it in a real life situation, but it'll be handy to know, just in case. And besides, I haven't been doing much exercise lately, and this should be a fun way to keep fit.

OMG the other day I found out that Revenant Wings has a secret ending! I was flipping through one of those hints books in EB, not expecting any FF games to be in there, but it said that if you finish the game 100%, you get a secret ending! I've only got one mission left to do, but the things I'm fighting are about level 95, and I'm about level 60 at the moment, and that's after heaps of levelling up throughout the game! Still, there's one mission that gives you about a third of the exp needed to level up at the end of each battle. And I think that I should be able to at least survive for longer that a few seconds at about level 80... So now I just need to spend a couple of weeks levelling up >.<

Hopefully I should be getting some more art up here soon. I've started a couple of pieces for the 100 theme challenge, and I've got ten short drabbles I wrote as part of a writing activity thing one of my friends found that I'll probably put up soon. Each drabble is only about 100-200 words, so I'm trying to decide whether to submit them seperately or together...

Grr stupid school computer >.< it doesn't seem to want me to change my mood... Fine then, I'll just stay obsessed. I suppose that's the only mood that'll always be accurate!

FF XII = <3

Yay, I got the FF XII guide book! It's so cool, it'll be a huge help in getting everything in the game. Plus, it's got pretty pictures in it ^.^

Hehe I just found the 'obsessed' mood XD

I'm in my free line again and I'm really bored. I probably should work on some english stuff but I've got it next and that'd be a bit of overkill. Gah I can't wait till our teacher goes on long service leave or whatever it is!

So yeah, at the moment I'm just wasting time. Only an hour left...

I might go play my DS. It's much more interesting than school work. Or I could see if a manga website is blocked and read more of Naruto. But then I'd have to find where I'm up to and I'd probably use up all my internet quota.

Yep, my DS sounds like a good idea. I'm nearly finished Revenant Wings ^.^ I think I can go to the ending battle now, but I've got a few missions to finish off first. Plus, I'm about level 50 and in Square Enix's games it's usually good to be about level 60 before you go to the ending battle(s). But luckily it's only taking about three or four battles to level up at the moment. Better than about 20 battles last time I needed to level up. That was really annoying. It took me about a week to level up enough to go onwards.

So yeah, I shall go do that. And so ends another useless entry!

Boooored

I is in my free line and I is bored.

I'm just glad DevArt isn't blocked. That would be bad.

This computer's screen is really weird. It's square. Seriously. It's freaking me out. I'm used to rectangle screens.

Hmm I probably should be doing some work at the moment. I missed three days of school last week cause I was sick... But I'm too lazy (as usual).

I wanna play my DS but I don't think the librarians would approve... Although they might not bother me if I turn the volume off (or use my earphones) and don't disturb anyone else...

Ooh cool the AIcon forums aren't blocked! Hopefully my going on it won't get it blocked...

LOL I just found a Llama in the moods!

Wow, it's almost lunch.

I've got English next... It's a good subject but out teacher talks too much. She makes the class really boring.

I'd better finish off now...

Wow, that was a really useless entry!
